Pretty large, well organized, clean terminal. Good facilities but no wifi. Security is tight (no surprise), personnel is polite, professional. Check in/out is fast, painless if (and only if) you obey rules and regulations. And NO, professional people are NOT trained to handle jokes (especially if they aren't even funny, I mean the jokes). Location is great, close to everything. Nearby public transportation is very valuable.

The worst cruise check in experience ever. Standing in line outdoors in the hot sun for over 2 hours so far. No communication from cruise line. Hoping the cruise makes up for this part.
It makes it nice and easy to get on your cruise ship and cruise from San Diego. Unfortunately, we traveled on January 6, 2023 and the terminal was not prepared for the high volume of people departing on 2 ships. They need to hire more employees to make this run smoother.
This is a great place to catch a ride on a cruise ship. Warning... you cannot buy a ticket for the cruise at the door like you can at a ball game or at the airport. You must purchase in advance from the cruise ship operator of your choice. I found that out the hard way. A bit of advice: get the all-inclusive option with the supplemental experiences and beverage package. You'll thank yourself later.
Nice experience at Oosterdam cruiseship
Convenient to get to, Holland America very organized. Clean area. Overall a very pleasant experience.
Getting on our ship at the same time as a Disney Cruise was difficult. The like outside was chaotic. Nobody knew what line went where and it was crazy. Once inside it got better. Our cruise departure in Seattle was a wonderful and fast experience compared to this port.
